On 26 September 2011, work began constructing the thrilling SkyPoint Climb experience. With an overwhelming demand for positions from more than 100 eager applicants, 12 lucky individuals were chosen for the official launch in January 2012. SkyPoint Observation Deck offers an unparalleled view of the Gold Coast from 230 metres high. With 400 people comfortably accommodated across two levels, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panorama stretching from Brisbane to Byron Bay and beyond all while indulging in SkyPoint’s museum, theatrette and lounge bar experiences. Reach for the sky easily thanks to SkyPoints express elevator – travelling 77 floors in 43 seconds!

What to do at SkyPoint Observation Deck

For the more daring adventurers, make your way to Australia’s highest external climb – SkyPoint Climb! Begin at level 77 of the Observation Deck and ascend up to 270 metres above ground under an experienced guide. Take in breathtaking views as you go: picture-perfect beaches, glittering cityscapes and lush green hinterlands stretching out before you. It will be a journey like no other!

SkyPoint Climb offers a unique experience for thrill-seekers! Those daring enough to take on the challenge will be rewarded with an unforgettable journey high above the skyline. Guests are securely harnessed before scaling SkyPoint Tower, where they can savour breathtaking views and marvel at their 1.5 hour adventure atop Queensland’s highest manmade landmark – all for just an additional fee!
